Apartment Review for Aspen Lodge Apartments - San Diego, CA

We lived there for about 6.5 months and it was horrible. We had neighbors that threatened to kill each other on a nightly basis, the teenager behind us had down syndrome and was screaming profanities CONSTANTLY. They charged us when we left for LEAVING a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. The ants were horrible, so bad in fact we saw a black spot when we got up one morning, my husband smacked the carpet around it and it was a 6 inch diameter of ANTS. When I called the front office to tell them I was deathly allergic, they took their sweet time trying to figure out what they could do because the actual manager was on vacation. The ants would come in under the toilet and make a line to the front door. We could only figure out they had to be coming from the house with the kid behind us because they had not mowed their grass in forever and when they finally mowed it is when this started. The noise from the street was expected, but we found it annoying to HAVE to have a phone installed to let people in. Parking was fine. Just the management and the surrounding people.
