Apartment Review
Please don't move here

This is the worse apartment I've ever been in. In the beginning when I went to view an apartment it was a nice apartment where all the appliances, cabinets, and carpet were new. She said it would be $ 680 for the first 8 months (on special) and then would be $805 for the remaining 4 months. I was like ok. So thinking that would be the apartment I’d be moving into I signed the lease. When I received my keys to my apartment it was a different apartment. It was horrible; the carpet was stained and dirty. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were rusty and the cabinets were poorly installed. The first time I went to open a cabinet the door fell completely off the hinges, and the garbage disposal always broke until they finally stopped trying to “fix” it and replaced it. You can't even have groceries such as rice and flour in cabinets because of the roaches, they get into everything. You would expect that on the first of the month the manager would be in her office so that you could pay your rent on time but she always has a sign on the door stating that she's out showing an apartment when she's not even at the complex for days. So you have to drop your money in her mail slot which set you up for her to say that you didn't pay your rent, and late fees. In the middle of the leasing period they posted signs on the door stating that the rent was no longer $ 805 but would be raised to $825 which is ridiculous if both parties agree to one price at the lease signing. So when I moved out I received a letter stating that I have to pay an extra $100 including them keeping my $ 400 deposit for cabinet damage, and cleaning because of a poor job done by maintenance when the "fixed" the cabinets. This place is a rip off because the apartment is not worth the rent they are charging and they will make you pay for damages that were already there before you moved just because they can. And I was actually in apartment 2141 Honey Drive. |
