Apartment Review for La Jolla Crossroads - San Diego, CA

They will raise your rent once your lease is up... they have a scam type arrangement on this... in the beginning they will entice you by saying they will call the owner to lower the rent so you get that for a year but one the lease is up they go back to the original price as a base for negotiating and raise it above that... they will send you a letter with some ridiculous price for renewal, then you will have to negotiate again except this time they are not as friendly as before when you did not live there.. but it's the same thing, "Oh let me call the owner..." Lot's of car Break ins. Screaming Jet's from Miramar shaking your whole apartment!!!! Some times till 11am. Thin walls so you can here your neighbors watching tv talking, stomping upstairs. Before you move in they don't tell you the rec center including the movie theater is only open during business hours. Trash in the hallways from drunks don't get cleaned up for days sometimes more than a week.
