Apartment Review for Las Flores Apartments - San Diego, CA

I have lived at Las Flores for two years and would not recommend this complex to anyone. The leasing staff was very friendly and helpful until I moved in. At that point, they could care less as long as your turn your rent in on time. Even then, you're subjected to huge rent increases (mine went up $200). The apartments are old and falling apart. All of my cabinets had water damage, the stove and oven broke repeatedly as did the refrigerator, and paint was constantly peeling off walls, door etc. The exterior has visible mold. Several times I'd wake up and the water would be turned off with no warning at all. The landscaping staff is loud and start early in the morning. The parking situation is bad in that people park second cars in guest spots and often the gates are broken so there is no security for your car. The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations and activities. Overall, I would not recommend this complex and I'm glad to be leaving shortly.
