Apartment Review
Deposit will not be returned after vacating
Review Date: 5/27/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
Everything is fine with the new manager but she forgets a lot. Most of the time water will be shut off for couple of hours and if you are a housewife then you will face little problem as without water for 2 - 3 hours is a trouble with a baby at home. One more main drawback is, after you leave the apartment you will not get your deposit amount at all. How much ever deposit you have paid, have to be forgotten, as they just inform that full amount has gone for apartment cleaning with no break-up details given to you, hence you will not be aware for what they have deducted all your deposit though you keep the apartment clean. Firstly, they will not inform you about the deposit at all and secondly, after regular follow-up she declares all the deposit money has been deducted for cleaning the apartment and lastly, this information will come to you after regular follow-ups and after minimum of 8 weeks of you vacating the apartment. Reason: She just says that she was busy and could not meet the vendors to take the quote. Note you would have cleaned the apartment before vacating and during inspection she would have informed that everything is perfect. But still your $400 (thatz the deposit amount we paid) will be taken away from you. A real shocking pinch to your pocket. |
