Apartment Review for Mira Monte - San Diego, CA

I happened to stay in Mira Monte and this has been a very bad experience. First we had people coming over late night and knocking my door soliciting donations. We reported to the management and all they did was put a notice of No Soliciting. Nothing more.The solicitors never stopped knocking the door though. People hardly close the common entrance doors here letting unauthorized people enter the property. The parking sucks.Most of the parking spots are small and there is no assigned parking.I had trouble parking my sedan every day.Sometimes it just so tough to enter your car because some other car has been parked so close.My car had dents because of reckless banging of other car doors into mine(also because of small parking lots). The taps in the bathroom always had water that is either too hot or too cold.They could never fix it. They charged us a $300 when we moved out.In our pre inspection for moving out ,we were told that the house is clean and we might probably need to pay $35 for carpet cleaning and may be $50 for general cleaning(typical expenses everyone pays while moving out).To my surprise they charged me $300.The management tries to steal the whole deposit. The highway noise is always a nuisance. One of my neighbor had white ants in his house. Ridiculous. Stay away from this place .
