Apartment Review for Mirada At La Jolla Colony - San Diego, CA

Not only are the walls paper thin, you can here the words to your neighbors tv, upstairs or downstairs, you can hear them having sex, you can even hear them going to the bathroom. If you live downstairs, you hear loud thuds all the time, the floors creak, the whole apartment seems to move. If you live above the parking garage, you can hear the door open every time someone enters or exits. The worst, they kept my $300 deposit and tried to get me for another $300. They charged me for brand new blinds throughout, very expensive, just because they were old and they wanted them replaced. I refused to pay, they have a lawyer now trying to collect. It is illegal for an apt. to charge for new blinds when they were old to start with, which I told them that. So now I somehow still owe $100 and they have it on my credit report. If you want your credit ruined over a terrible place to live, avoid living here! This is the worst place I have ever lived, there are condos going on Craigslist in the same area for around the same price, keep looking!
