Apartment Review for Navajo Bluffs - San Diego, CA

Compared to other rental in this expensive area, this place is a good deal. The building is older and cosmetically could use a face lift but it's ok. The parking is diffucult (welcome to San Diego) if you have more than one car it's frustrating as you get only 1 space which is reserved. There is only 1 handyman for over 200 apartments so repairs, unless its an emergency, can be a wait. However, I had a flood after hours one night and the manager got here within 10 minutes and took care of it with professionals immediately. The staff, especially the ladies in the office, is very nice and friendly. I know some tenants are real jerks and expect to break the rules and get away with it but the managers are fair and try hard to make this a nice place to live. Don't try to live here if you want to be loud and party or be trashy because they will not tolerate it and neither will the neighbors. Everyone I live around is polite and nice and courteous to eachother. The managers keep on top of that. The rent is very good and even though you have to pay for your own water, it is the best deal around. I shopped around and other places in the area are several hunderd bucks more each month, even though they may be newer buildings who wants to pay $1400 for a 1 bedroom apartment when you can pay just under $1000.
