Apartment Review for Shorecrest Apartments - San Diego, CA

It looks nice from the outside, but like anything else, the tone is set from the top down. The management is very hands-off, which is OK to a point (no one wants the gestapo watching them) but service is almost non-existent. You have to ask several times to get any routine maintenance done and they always act like you're really putting them out by doing so. The apartments (upstairs at least) get VERY hot. We've got a system of 4 fans going just to keep us from sweating through our clothes. Also, everyone hears everything. We can all hear each others conversations, etc at Shorecrest, so if you're looking for privacy, look elsewhere. I don't mean to slam the hell out of this place, cuz it's not the worst apartment building ever...it's just not what it could be. Go elsewhere.
