Apartment Review for Summit Park Village Appartments - San Diego, CA

I was looking forward to moving into Summit Park Village because of the onsite leasing office...I figured if there was anything wrong that the office would be able to handle it quickly.

One morning, however, a pipe had been leaking underneath my apartment and it flooded my bathroom. In addition to the flooding bathroom, the water had seeped into the dining area and living room. The carpet was soaking wet and the apartment smelled horrible.

I left my apartment that day so that they could fix my place. I did not complain about having to be dislocated for the weekend.

It took them 1 day to fix the leak but they had left my apartment a mess for 5 days total. My bathroom was left without any flooring besides the concrete...they moved all my furniture around and didn't put it back in place. Also, they left 4 fans running while I was gone.

When I got back to my apartment I wasn't even sure if I could use the bathroom or not. When I tried to call their courtesty number a person said he'd get back to me ... that didn't happen.

They did not apologize at all and were not very nice when I called to ask about what was being done to my apartment.

I'd suggest that if you want to live here -- get an apartment on the second floor!
