Apartment Review for Swiss Village - San Diego, CA

I lived at Swiss Village between Oct 03 - Aug. 05. It was by far the worst place I have ever lived at. Carpets, appliances, and general appeal is old and unkept. Hallways had dingy smell despite being cleaned every few months. Was told on a number of occasions the complex was going to be renovated, yet it never seemed to have happend while I was there. Found homeless people sleeping in the club house several times as well as in one of the stairwells. Calls to the patrol never seemd to work. Frequent change of management made residents feel uneasy about what was happening. Had bad neighbors (think rednecks), loud TV's, and friends of the rental manage move into the unit next to mine, who thought it was okay to have dogs in the unit. Overall place is a dump, and don't even get me started on the wood shingles.
