Apartment Review for The Hills At Rancho Penasquitos - San Diego, CA

I have been here a while and am glad to be leaving. The manager is a serious liar and nit-picker yet breaks her own rules on a regular basis. She will fabricate lies and attempt to put them in your records. I had to go over her head several times to her boss to resolve issues. Her mother comes to visit and brings her oversized dog and leaves the poor thing locked outside frequently while it cries to come back in. You not allowed to have anything on your balcony yet her back porch and living area is a storage facility with paint cans and tarps. Her kids run all over the neighborhood but don't let yours be seen outside. The maintenance manager is an idiot who can't keep anything fixed and his Mom and daughter is the neighborhood spy. This used to be a great place with beautiful pine trees until they hired a cheap company to butcher them and now they are so ugly it sad. So rent with caution. Better yet avoid the hassle and headaches and look some where else. Oh yea and the worst part, it is hotter than hell in the summer, there is no AC and unless you are on the north side facing north you better not have anyone with health problems living with you or of you have pets. It can get over 100 degrees inside if you have to lock up your house. No lie!
