Apartment Review for Venetian Apts - San Diego, CA

I lived here for 8 months and I can not stand it. Had my car broken into the first month. Reported it to HOA and they did absolutely nothing. Seems like the theifts comes by to shop once a week because that is how often I see broken windows in the parking lot. As luck would have it. my car got stolen last month.

The complex looks great and well kept. but the construction is probably the poorest in the area. For a complex this had just been "renovated", every is already falling apart. window doesn't open. drain gets clog, etc. The walls and floor board are thin and you can literately hear you neighbor talk, turning on the microwave, and flush the tolets. If you live in a lower level unit, the noise becomes even more annoying. I can hear every footstep.

The overall layout of the complex is partly the blame. The common walls with the neighbor divides bedrooms/living room. tough to sleep if you have neighbors that likes to watch tv at 1am.

all in all, i do not want to live here anymore and certainly would not pay $300k for the unit. The only worthy ones are perhaps the upstair corner units.
