Apartment Review for Villiage View - San Diego, CA

Loved the location of this complex! Everything was going fine until I got to know the landlord Mareza. She is very nice at first, but you had better not ask any questions or ask for any special treatment at all. She turns into a b****. Being a "first time college student leasee" I wanted to look over the lease agreement ahead of hand just to understand what I was getting into exactly and what was required of me. Forget it! SHE SAID NO! Suspicious enough for you...? Also if you are planning on getting straight answers from her forget it! She changes her answers for every person she talks to. We had asked how much would be taken out of our deposit and applied towards cleaning (if the apartment was in excellent condition upon the move out date). First, she said under $100 to my roommate. Then, she said $500 to me. I was over it! I am a male and my other roommate was going to be a female. I can't say for sure but I also think that she is sexist. She was completely fun and cheerful with my roommate (a girl). But, when I came into the picture she was very rude and even suggested to my other roommate that I not rent with her. I highly suggest that if Mareza's superiors read this that she be replaced immediately. ** The parking is also very condensed so it is hard to pull in and out of spots quickly.
